Our California Funeral Counselors and Support Staff
Shane Dietsche
I was called to this ministry in 2005 and I have never looked back. Very early on in my career, it was quite clear that this is what I was meant to do. There is very little that can match the level of fulfillment gained when family and friends of loved ones lost have place their confidence in you at such a delicate time in their lives. I honestly cannot see myself doing anything else.

Funeral Support
I started working at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral home with my husband, Brian, early in 2005 where we took care of the first calls and helped facilitate services. We were both so proud to work in this capacity as we felt we were helping families when they needed our care and compassion the most. I left Reardon’s when my husband started fighting cancer but we always stayed in touch with them as they are like family. I trust the people at Reardon so much, they handled my mom and my husband’s memorial services when they passed. When I felt I could go back to work, I came right back to Reardon’s as I know their kindness would heal my heart. I continue to provide kindness, compassion, care and empathy to those who come to us in their moment of need. I love working here because it makes my heart full as I know the care we provide our families is true and pure. We all care about our families and each other. Because of this, I am proud to be back here, serving this wonderful community.
Daphne Gutierrez
Funeral Support
Hello, my name is Daphne Gutierrez.
I really enjoy helping and being there for others in a time of need, and working at Reardon has taught and given me endless opportunities to do so. I grew up traveling with my family and constantly in sports, mainly gymnastics and cheer, and playing the piano. I am currently an avid concert go-er, spending as much time as I can with my family and friends.
