Funeral Costs
We are committed to transparency in our business practices. This requires us to be upfront and open about our funeral and cremation prices by providing you with an easy to access General Price List.
And for a business to be truly transparent, the staff needs to follow certain rules or guidelines that keep everyone accountable for their words and actions.
It’s easy to see that if our funeral home pulls this way yesterday and that way tomorrow when it comes to openness, communication and accountability, families would quickly lose their trust in us.
And trust is everything.
After all, the services we provide are unique, and the people we serve are in a very vulnerable position. We consider trust to be an essential part of the relationship we develop with the families we serve.

How Much Does a Funeral Cost?
Funeral pricing is a major concern for some families. California and the other Pacific states have some of the highest funeral costs according to the NFDA (2019). For example, the average cost of a traditional funeral service in our region is $7,290. This is due to funeral expenses such as funeral home staff, rental of space, and vehicles as well as the cost of embalming and burial.
At Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home, we prefer to be transparent about our funeral and cremation costs, and we take pride in offering families affordable options from which to choose.
